The Medic is a support unit unlocked alongside the Male and Female Infantry Class upon starting Episode 3 on a first playthrough of the game. Unlocking this class also unlocks the ability to purchase TEC-Based weaponry.

The Medic is basically a Healer with a gun, mixing long-range attacking power with Healing and buffer spells. Being one of the first long-range units avaliable to the player, he has mediocre HP and DEF, typical with characters of this archetype.

Unlike his Infantry counterparts, he sacrifices power for support; sporting an average RES growth in exchange for lower HP, DEF, and TEC Aptitudes than his counterparts. While not as strong as most Infantry, the Medic is great as a supporting attacker/back-up Healer. He is also one of the three units in the game that are good with the Syringe weapon.

Medics are at their best when taking advantage of both their TEC power and their Healing prowess, as they will be lacking otherwise. Also, like the other two initial Infantry units, they will end up overshadowed by stronger classes over time.
